The women of Sigma Chi Delta believe that it is important to give back to the community in which we live and learn in.  The current Philanthropic chair is Amanda Wilson. 

Our sisterhood participates in many philanthropic activities throughout the year, including:

* fundraisers and annual banquet for our official philanthropy, the Northeast Missouri Community Action Agency

*Community on the Quad with Delta Chi

* Adopt-A-Street street cleaning

* Adair County Humane Society

* Special Olympics

* collecting cans for food banks

* Toys-for-Tots

* Red Cross blood drives

* The Big Event campus-wide annual service project

* Alpha Sigma Gamma's "Show Your Support" breast cancer awareness week

* Salvation Army bell-ringing
